The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong will hold a Preparatory Course for Exit Examination for higher trainees in General Surgery. This course will be conducted annually by the College to prepare higher trainees for the Exit Examination.
Applications are now invited for the above course. The Preparatory Course will last for 5 days and take place at different hospitals. It includes the Tutorial Sessions and Mock Examination (Viva and Clinical examination). The external examiners will be invited to involve in the Mock Examination.
Candidates will be informed of the detailed course programme later. Each candidate is required to pay a fee of HKD 8,000 (5-day course) to cover the running cost.
To be eligible for consideration, the applicant must have completed at least 3 ½ years higher general surgical training and intend to enroll and sit for the coming Exit Examination in General Surgery in March 2012.
Other general surgical higher trainees are welcome to enroll in the Tutorial Sessions. The fee for each session is HKD 500 per candidate.
