  • New Manuscript Submission System for Surgical Practice

    Date : 13 August 2024 (Tue)

    To Whom It May Concern,

New Manuscript Submission System for Surgical Practice
As informed by Wiley, the publisher for Surgical Practice, a new manuscript submission system called Research Exchange (ReX) will be introduced. While all other editorial tasks will still be completed in ScholarOne system (S1), the Research Exchange (ReX) would only be used for the submission processes for authors.

According to Wiley, the new submission system has clearer and quicker submission processes for the authors. It can also provide the editorial office with automated data extraction. For more details, please refer to the introduction video hereby. To login the new submission system, authors can use your existing Wiley Researcher ID which connects them to Author Services and Wiley Online Library (the one you used for logging in for online accessing the Surgical Practice).

The migration of manuscript submission from S1 system to ReX system is scheduled on 13 August 2024 (Tue). During the migration, the ScholarOne site may experience a short downtime and unsolicited manuscripts cannot be accepted during the time. To avoid confusion, authors who have begun their submission journey before migration will continue to work within the ScholarOne tool. Your understanding and patience are much appreciated.

We are grateful for your unceasing support to the College and to Surgical Practice. Please continue to share with us your manuscripts in Surgical Practice. If you have any enquiries, please contact Editorial Office at surgicalpractice@cshk.org / (852) 2871 8825/ (852) 2871 8774. Thank you for your attention.

    Yours faithfully,

    Prof. Paul B. S. LAI
    Editor-in-Chief
