Examination Title Remark Request for re-check of examination scores in MHKICBSC (Part 1 - 3) Examination
As resolved by the Hong Kong Intercollegiate Board of Surgical Colleges Council on 11 March 2011, candidates requesting for a re-check of their scores in Part 1 to Part 3 of the MHKICBSC Examination must submit a written request to the Chairman of the Examination Committee via the College Secretariat at 601, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Jockey Club Building, 99 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong. The written request must REACH the College Secretariat within 14 days after the publication of results and together with a cheque of HK$1,000* payable to "The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong Limited" being the processing fee for the re-check. The processing fee will be refunded to the candidate, should an error on the part of the College be subsequently identified.
* The processing fee is meant for each part of the examination.
Appeal against MHKICBSC (Part 1 - 3) Examination
As resolved by the Hong Kong Intercollegiate Board of Surgical Colleges Council on 1 August 2009, candidates whose performance have been adversely affected due to the proceedings and/or inadequacy of the above examination may file a written appeal together with a cheque of HK$1,000*payable to “The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong Limited” being the processing fee and such appeal must REACH the College Secretariat within14 days from the publication of results to the Chairman of the Examination Committee. 2) A processing fee will be charged for any unsuccessful application, including incomplete application. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria, and to make sure all required documentation and fee are submitted by the required date.
3) Application received will be acknowledged by email.

Examination Title Joint Specialty Fellowship Examination in Neurosurgery Date 17 April and 1 June 2024 Open application date 19 December 2023 (Tuesday) Close application date 18 January 2024 (Thursday) Examination Fee The fee for Section I (MCQ Exam) is HK$5,000 and for Section II Examination (Viva & Clinical) is HK$45,000.
